I have been on this forum for 2 years and have not seen anyone post about Thailand. Good luck in your search.

Hi, I'm in Australia and paid about $5,500 with top health cover but if you haven't got that you may be looking at around $18000. There are some great surgeons in Thailand for some surgeries but I haven't heard anything about the sleeve there. My concerns are with aftercare or if there were any problems. There might not be but you never know, a friend of mine got readdmitted for a week recently for dehydration and vomiting. If you can stay for a couple of weeks after surgery so you can go back in if you need to that would be good. the other important thing would be to have a good GP who will do 3 monthly bloods to check your vitamin levels etc. Good luck with it and let us know what you find out. the other option is to draw on your super which isn't too difficult to do so you have that up your sleeve :-)
