    You will be tired, maybe not quite up to a house full of company for the week. They will all have to understand that you will not be doing ANY of the cleaning, cooking, whatever and are able to nap when you need to. You will still be able to enjoy their company, just so they understand you are recovering from surgery and not entertaining the extended family this year. Enjoy the time together, Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday!

    Yes, I have the preop diet. Start liquids on the 12th. Although it may be difficult during all the Holiday events, it certainly will give
    Me the true experience of the change I’m willing to make.
