Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jason from NYC and just finished with all my clearances! 2 more weigh ins to go to I should be having my surgery in February. Ugh wish it was tomorrow lol. I'm currently 5'11" weigh 315lbs.

Welcome Jason. I totally get it. I also went through insurance and it felt like the process was sooooooo long. Oddly enough, once you get the surgery time seems to fly by. Hang in there. You will be getting your date before you know it and joining us on the losers bench. Stick around and read up a lot because the more you know the easier the surgery will be.

Welcome Jason. I understand you wanting to "get on with it". February will be here I no time. I can't quite believe that it will be December tomorrow. Mentally I think I'm still in April!

You'll be there soon enough and take this time to "rehearse" what it's like to eat differently. Try different proteins, introduce a new fitness into your routine, be more mindful about eating/drinking, make small changes; lots of patients have found this pre-surgery practice made them more prepared.
