Welcome Jason. I totally get it. I also went through insurance and it felt like the process was sooooooo long. Oddly enough, once you get the surgery time seems to fly by. Hang in there. You will be getting your date before you know it and joining us on the losers bench. Stick around and read up a lot because the more you know the easier the surgery will be.
You'll be there soon enough and take this time to "rehearse" what it's like to eat differently. Try different proteins, introduce a new fitness into your routine, be more mindful about eating/drinking, make small changes; lots of patients have found this pre-surgery practice made them more prepared.
