    Default 9 months on Sunday!

    Hi All,

I hope this post finds you all well!

I am happy to say I am feeling good and looking very different.

Gosh I feel young and alive and I am healthy and happy.

The stress of worrying about weight everyday for years, has gone, thats the biggest gift!

Getting ready to go anywhere is quick and easy as I feel I can throw on anything but you know I can dress more casual now than ever

because I feel ok in my own body.

The compliments I receive are lovely. Everyone has noticed, I find that really hard to handle I honestly don't know what to say when

someone says "You have lost so much weight" as I did not tell anyone about my sleeve. I feel guilty that I have had this tool and down play

it, But Heck I really love the life I am living so you know what it will be old news to people soon.

I am 2 kg away from my predicted goal that the Dr said may happen. (60 KG) I thought I might be at this weight by next year I am happy

that it has happened quicker than anticipated.

Loving the buying of new clothes!!!!!

I started to shop for new clothes in the last month or so.

    I am a UK size 8 or 10 unreal!

I have a little loose skin but that has been helped by hydration on the inside and outside by using body moisturisers Q10 really helps I

    recommend it!

I have had a lot of hair loss it could be in conjunction with the Thyroid and sleeve.

So I get to wear beautiful wigs and I love them!

I also have opted for a new hairstyle and length a stacked bob so my thin hair looked thicker People stop me and ask who did my hair.

I could not have had this style when I was fatter as it would have made my huge face look even worse.

People ask if I have had some work done on my face!

I now realise that my thyroid tumours were huge and my face was so distorted as a result of the weight and the thryroid that I do look like another person.

I am sorry I cant show my face in any photos as I have not told anyone and I really don't want my family to know as they would never ever

understand, even though, they are also very overweight.

They do not have the mind set to deal with it.

Its a shame as I realise if I had been free to admit my surgery I would have been someone who promoted it at every possible I am passionate about the benefits for wellbeing.

I would recommend this to anyone who really wants to benefit the joy of being in control of your weight and health.

Thanks for all the advice and support I feel so lucky to have such great people around me.

I feel supported and inspired educated and welcomed.

Sorry Not the best photo and yes I have hidden my face but I am so pleased.

    Truly mean that!

    Thank you very much!

I LOVE being able to grab something from my closet knowing it'll just fit. It really does make it so much easier to get out and go!

    Congrats!

    Hello Sraebaer

    Aww Thank You so much!

Gosh You have motivated me at every thread that you post.

I am so Lucky to have you on this forum.

I have learned so much from you and hope that I can continue to be as successful at maintaining the weight as you have been. I am aware it may be a honeymoon period but feel that the reminder of healthy choices and nutrition are the keys to this tool.

Thanks a million if only you knew how much you have helped!
    I really mean that!
    xx

You are looking great - headless of not! :-) and you "sound" so happy!
I totally understand the anonymity. I only told a few people that I really really trusted. There are some people that I will never ever tell but mostly these days if someone asks what I have done I tell them. I'm now confident enough to not care whether they approve or not. It's my life and I'm happy that I have taken control of it.
    Well done you.

    Ha Katrina

    Well spotted!
I have rescued Rosie she is only 9 months old! An Akbash (Guardian Dog) Well there are 10 Rescue dogs in my house now I have a lot of space inside and outside!

But there have been a total of 35 in the last 10 years Not all at the same time!

Only ever got to 11 at one time.

All my dogs have problems with being dumped because they were unwell.
Rosie was the only one to survive out of 4 girl puppies as they all had distemper she now has Hip dysplasia but we have her under expert medical supervision and she will do fine!

I have a 3 legged dog, 2 with only one eye 2 with hip dysplasia one with malnutrition and one with cancer.

We rescue who ever needs us until a forever home comes along but sometimes that does not happen. this lot are ours and we would not wish for anything different.

    They are my family!

    I am the lucky one!

    xx
