So, my husband and I were just having a joking conversation about how I could get some energy. Crack - he says that only gives you energy to buy more crack. Pills, adderall, etc. I said "Well, I do have ADD. He said my doctor would probably prescribe me some adderall. Big negative! Which made me think back to my doctor. Any time I ever went to him when I was bigger, he'd tell me to lose weight. That's his cure all for everything. So I wonder what now. I lost the weight, and it fixed NOTHING! I still have zero energy and everything still hurts. But hey, I look better, and as my ex always says it's better to look good than feel good.
Just wondering if any of you guys have the same kind of doctor who thinks losing weight is the magic pill for everything. Why do they always blame everything on being fat? Sure it's not good for you to be fat, but being skinny clearly isn't the answer for everything.
Edit to add - I get in all my protein every day, and I take a multivitamin.
