Doctors, energy, and losing weight

Stacey, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia several years ago. I was prescribed Effexor for it. It helped with the pain so much, but the side effects were not something I could live with. That stuff took a huge toll on my love life. I decided I'd rather be in pain that not able to enjoy time with my husband. Also, I was not warned about how horrific coming off that stuff is. For about a week i thought I was going to die, like seriously die. I didn't even know who I was. It was a crazy experience. No more antidepressants for me.

Blood pressure tonight is 82/48. It's typically mid to low 80's over mid 50's. It's been this way at least since I had surgery. You know what my doctor told me to do for that? Go to McDonald's and get a large fry with extra salt. I have a low heartrate and blood sugar, too. I've been eating really healthy this week, and I've lost 4 pounds since Monday (112 this morning).

@Katrina and @Stacey03 I have Fibromyalgia (and also ME/CFIDS) and am on Cymbalta, which works wonders for me re pain.

My husband doesn't want to go on a diet. It pisses me off.
