Thanksgiving

My family had a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of yummy food and precious time all together. My belly didn't let me eat nearly as much as I wanted, but I was able to go back a few times during the day until I had some of everything I wanted. It was probably the best yet out of the 5 Thanksgivings I've had since surgery in terms of being able to enjoy myself. I hope all of you had a happy Thanksgiving.

My family - son in law Joe, oldest Brittany, Middle Meg, youngest Maddie, Dad, Mom, husband Mike, Me, my girl Pita and my granddog Norma. The grandbabies skipped out on most of the pictures.

I just checked my weight to see what the Thanksgiving feast damage was... I survived unscathed. Yesterday morning I was 116.4. Today I'm 116.2. Hallelujah!

Thank you, Dutch and Christie! Meg was happy and healthy that day!! It was probably our best Thanksgiving. My kids didn't fight for the first time ever. Those 3 together are a nightmare, so it was a real blessing that they got along. The oldest and youngest like to gang up on Meg, and Meg's crazy comes out in full force. So thankful we skipped all that this year. On the downside, Meg hasn't bathed since that day. She stinks! I need some help to get her in the tub because she is not cooperating with me at all. I'll take the good days, and hold my nose on the bad ones
