Thought I would drop by with a quick update.
Things are not good. I'm still on IV antibiotics and tomorrow I go for another cat scan as the doc thinks my pnemonia spot is bigger. He could not tell real well on my chest xray. My hemoglobin is 8.8. So I am wiped out tired. I still can't eat and the nasuea is awful even with drugs. I seem to puke every time I try to eat. Doc is pretty sure it's the antibiotics and he doesn't seem too concerned with it. It scares my parents. I just want to be able to eat again and get back on track. Dad thinks it's surgery related - I sure hope not. I just want this over with.
My work has been fabulous. My FMLA was approved and I can ask for donated leave time. I will work on that this weekend.
I'll update when I can.
It's so good that your work has been understanding. There are a lot of places that aren't. I got fired from a job in 2009 because I had to take more than 3 days off for a death in the family. Normally, that would be okay but there were extenuating circumstances that required me to NEED more than 3 days. My husband got fired too... same company. My mom did too. Same incidence but different company. They didn't believe our story and we were so distraught that we would have to prove such a horrible, devastating story that we didn't care to ever work for those companies anyways. I hope that you will be back to your normal in no time!
