Hi Everyone,
My name is Linda, I am 48 yrs old. I have been married for 27 yrs and we have 2 children, daughter and son. My daughter is 25 and my son is 21. We have 2 dogs, Golden Retriever and German Shepphard...
I just recently had the Gastric Sleeve, October 8, 2018. I did this first and foremost for myself but to be HEALTHY and also for my husband and kids and future grandkids...
I was diagnosed with Liver disease 4 yrs ago, I was put on a clinical study to try a medicine to see if it would help me? But I will not know if I had the real deal until 2020???? I had to drop out of the study to get the gastric sleeve. Because Im actually rejuvenating my liver back to normal. I did not want a Liver Transplant.. WEIGHT GAIN WAS CONTRIBUTED FROM MEDICINE I WAS ON.

My Sleeve was a success, no problems. I was just very thirsty in the hospital. but I kept this one word in my head the entire time
TEMPORARY.. Its not gonna last forever. Im in my 5th week and Im getting to enjoy some foods now! IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ME BUT IT FEELS GOOD TO FEEL GOOD!

Hello, I’m new also,had my surgery on 10/10/2018 and I’m down from the surgery date 21 lbs. I thought my weight loss was too slow and was starting to be concerned but seeing you are around where I am let’s me know I’m pretty much on track for what’s normal. Anyway, I wish you much success in your weight loss journey!!!

Welcome Linda! Glad to hear things are going well. You are right, this truly is the best thing we can do for ourselves. You are going to love living a sleeved life. I am 2 years post op and still living life to the fullest.
