Oh, Christie! Just saw this post (have been traveling a lot recently). I'm so happy for you and SO VERY VERY PROUD OF YOU!

You're one of those who, since WLS, has grabbed life by the neck and ridden it at full-speed. I love how you're doing that.

I know I have to, I just LOVE so much being outside. Yesterday I took a hike and it was only about 15 degrees and sunny, and I was warm in my Land's End down coat, actually a little too warm. (I should advertise for them). But I HAVE to get to the gym to prepare for Kilimanjaro next summer. I've been sick since returning from Sicily, when I feel better I'll get started. Nothing like 4 germ circulating airplane flights to make you sick.

I had a personal trainer who quit, wasn't making enough to support himself I guess. I need one of those again. Loved him! But I do have a gym membership, so I need to stop the excuses.

Thanks Ann!! I always say the sleeve gave me a second chance at life and I am not wasting one minute of it. I am living it to the fullest and will never allow myself to be that unhealthy person again.

Thank you Amber! I feel freaking amazing. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. My one regret is waiting so long to take the plunge.

I have a pretty nice home gym setup and keep adding to it. Because I do run down the street and back between reps it is sort of like being outside. I always get to enjoy the sunrise. Also, I do other outside stuff. But you can totally tone with just a few pairs of free weights. But you are totally doing a great job with all your exercise and I am jealous of all the beautiful views you get to see on your hikes!
