Gallbladder/stones Questions

I can’t seem to find the answer to this questions. Does anyone know the earliest one could experience gallbladder issues after surgery? I might just be being paranoid. I had a few weird twinges on the upper right side of my abdomen. Then I had sharp pains on my right side. It felt like on top of my right rib cage. But I’m 21 days out that seemed early, but I know nothing.

You can read this little tidbit on gallstones. It says you only need to go if you are experiencing intense pain.

I've had my gallbladder taken out. All I can remember is you will know it by the pain and discomfort. I know a lady that lost a lot if weight and had to have her removed. I don't know how prevalent it is in weight loss patients, though. Best wishes!

I think it would be like labour... if you're wondering if you're in labour then you're not! Gall bladder pain is pretty hefty, It will announce itself as we say! Hopefully its nothing. Congrats on your surgery :-)

At 21 days I think you will feel some weird pains occasionally. Your body is healing. I wouldn't worry unless it gets really bad. But I'm not a doctor, so maybe a call to them will reassure you.
