It went from being freezing (to me) to 33 degrees overnight and everyone is complaining heaps! It was like kapow! Summer! I don't mind, I mean I'm always very happy to discuss the weather because I'm English originally.
What's your weather like? :-)
Stormy and cold.
It is getting winter here!
Brrr...
Saturday we are off to warmer places, like Morocco.
It will take a while to get there though, maybe in December.
If it's getting hot where you live it's getting cold here. But I do love the flannel shirts, down vests, and cute boots. Time to pack away the shorts and sandals.
I wish you would send some of that heat over here please Edie.
It's still a bit miserable (in Auckland at least).
We had a fabulous Labour weekend at the end of October but it has been cold and wet ever since.
Last year Summer arrived overnight and like you say it was as though someone flicked a switch - hopefully that will happen here soon too :-)
Well, we've had a run of hot weather here in Perth (and are apparently going to send it to the east!). I am in a south-east suburb of Perth, and we don't get a sea breeze "The Fremantle Doctor" here. We got to about 40.5 Celcius (in the shade) on Saturday which equals 104.9 Farenheight. I got up early, walked my dogs in shifts, and we were home by 0800. House shut up, Windows closed. Roller shutters down, curtains drawn. A/c + ceiling fans + heavy duty fan on. I am down to bra and knickers (I feel the heat due to my thermoregulatory problems). I hate summer, as does my Houndie ("permanent foster") with his life-limiting congenital genetic heart problems. But we are in for a respite Thurs/Fri/Sat 27/25/27 Celcius. I desperately need to find the "cool coats" that I made for my Houndies last summer. But I have ordered and paid for a XXL for "my" boy which I hope will arrive at the end of this week (delivery within Australia) https://www.coolcoats.com.au/collect...=6821824266297
