    Default Stressed

My last weigh in is November12th. On my 1st weigh in I had lost 6lbs. On my 2nd weigh in I gained 2lbs I am so worried about this 3rd weigh in. My Insurance coach says just stay under the original weight and it will be fine. I am 62 years old and have arthritis so bad in my knees I cant hardly exercise. I work where I am on my feet all day and by the end of the day I just want to put my feet up I am in so much pain. A few years ago I lost around 15 pounds and was able to get around better, so I know with this surgery I will exercise more and more as the weight comes off. I go to my PCP for weigh ins and he always ask me if I am exercising 20min a day I want to lie so bad and say yes but I always tell him the truth. He knows how bad I hurt. I wonder if he really cares or if he is just trying to do his part to help me get this surgery. If this last weight is good I will be scheduled in Dec. and I will be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks. I am sorry this is so long I am stressed to the max has anyone else had problems losing weight preop

    Hi there.
Sorry I can't help re the pre op procedures for insurance as I had to go self pay.
I hope that you are able to relax a little (easier said than done I know!) as being stressed is probably not going to help.
Fingers crossed for a good result for you for the 12th.

Hang in there. Maybe try a liquid diet for a few days before your final weigh in to make sure you have lost some so you can be approved. Fingers crossed for you to get your approval.

I am so happy, I went to my weigh in yesterday and I have lost a total of 17 pounds over 3 months. Now I wait for my Insurance to approve me. So excited

Don't be stressed, get excited! You are about to begin an amazing journey that will change your life! The pre-surgery liquid diet is not much fun, but totally doable, and just a small price to pay on your road to being healthy and smaller.

And be thankful you have insurance, many of us did not.
