Cool Hey y'all! 6 days out!

    Hello everyone,

    I am a newbie!

I was just sleeved this past Tuesday, the 23rd. Only stayed in the hospital overnight so have been on the mend at home <throws up confetti>. It has been a long road in these past few days, that is for sure.

I am a nurse in "real life" - so lets see how I am as a patient for the next couple of weeks!

Looking forward to talking to you all! I need some encouragement, laughs, and insights --- and would share such!

    Great News my Lovlie!

    Congratulations on your sleeve!

I am sure you will be an amazing patient as you know as the carer in life generally your healing is your mindset and your cheerfulness to see you forward.

    Welcome to a new you!

    You will see!!!!

    It's the very best!

It takes a little planning and a need to be on the ball with nutrition and making time for yourself to eat to res,t to play, to be well.

But you know all that right so now you have to own it and enjoy putting your new tool as a priority to give you the best version of yourself!

    All the Best!

    I am delighted for you!

Welcome here and congrats on your sleeve.
    How are you feeling?
    Drinking goes well?
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

Wonderful! (I'm a gemini as well). You'll find recovery as always, being ups and downs but holding steady is the best thing. I'm a year out and tickled with my health and my ability to be active.
    [I]HW: 240 lbs SW: 199 lbs GW: 140 lbs

    1 MO = 167.0 2 MO = 156.4 3 MO = 148.4 4 MO = 140.6

Happy with my weight; happy with my size; over-the-moon with my health!

Hey cutegemini and congratulations on your Sleeve. You have beaten me by two days to it and I also got to recover home after one overnight stay.
Als the others have been saying, attitude really helps with the recovery. So reading from your post, you will be doing great!

Welcome Gemini! Congrats on your new sleeve. Glad to hear you are recovering. I know that the worst part for me was the overnight in the hospital. I was much happier recovering at home in my own bed.

Welcome! This journey is so much fun and I can tell you are feeling it! Every day will get better.

    Early on advice:

    1. Rest a lot. Sleep all you can. Rest heals.
    2. When awake, walk a little, and sip all the time to be sure you're meeting your liquid and protein goals. I kept a journal to be sure.
