Time to be honest - Check-in

In my post, https://www.gastricsleeve.com/forum/...ad.php?t=68000 from a couple of days ago, I talked about how I was going to the nutritionist today and how I was going to be completely honest about why I had been gaining weight. Well, I had my appointment and I kept my word. She looked at my food logs for the last two weeks which on a couple of days had, cheese its and doritos. She commented about those two choices but at least I was honest with what I really ate. My reward was I'm down 2 lbs. Doesn't sound like a lot to lose over two weeks but I will take it. I made another two week appointment and I will continue to be honest. Thanks to those of you who took the time to comment on my other post.

I think the nutritionist was a little shocked that I was coming clean with her. I must say that I felt just as good about losing 2 lbs. as I did telling her that I had eaten bread, pasta and a few too many glasses of wine and that's why I gained weight. I think it will help her help me in the future.

Good for you for taking control. I believe that being honest - especially with yourself- is the only way to go if you want to succeed.

Hey, I'd be happy with a lb/week weight loss! To think, if you did that every week, then you'd be 52 lbs lighter in a years time!

Honesty is everything. And you say only 2 lbs but when a normal person loses 1-2 lbs a week that is considered smart weight loss. You did it the right way!! You are totally going to lose what you gained before you know it. Keep being honest...especially with yourself. Because you deserve to be happy and healthy!!
