Default Coming up for 8 months now!

    Hi

Just wanted to ask a couple of questions.

I am now starting to look thinner.

I noticed it in the last couple of weeks.

    Question 1

How does it stop? I know that may sound weird but I have never found any answers as to why it will stop. Medically speaking would be great to understand this.

I think I am near where I should be in my weight. I am now normal BMI!
    Hurrah!
and I am in size 8 UK size, sorry, don't know the US size but I used to be a size 22!

My tops are sometimes in need of a bigger size as I still have my bust and I feel it now needs to shift from only my Tummy as its still too big compared with the rest of me!

    Question 2

I sometimes only recently can eat so much more on a certain day than others.

Most of the time I can't!

I really struggle to finish my food.

So I stop as its impossible and very uncomfortable to even think I could take another bite.

But yesterday, for example, I felt hungry and I could eat more, the same today after so long not being able to. Is this how it goes from around 8 months?

By the way I am talking dense proteins and egg, not slippery slidy or junk food.

I would love your thoughts and wisdom on this my lovely people.

Happy and content but want to know more if you know what I mean.

For me my weight loss just stopped at the high end of the healthy BMI for my height. I don't know why, but I have been happy at this size for over 4 years now!

I wish I struggled to eat, but I don't. I do get full, but it takes more food than it used to. I have to make a conscious effort to eat right!

Sounds like you're doing great! Way to go!

I went a bit below my goal and seem to have stabilized at 125-126 after a year. Some days I eat 5 small meals, some days 3 or 5 larger ones, but usualhy same calories (about 1300, but I'm not exercising other than walking).

It takes a while to feel like you look thinner...and there are days when you think too thin, and days when you thing too big (for no reason) and days for which you don't think about it at all! Those re the best one.

I think ultimately your body will decide on its own when enough is enough. Some people do get "too low" for what they want and have to make an effort to gain a little bit of weight. Most people settle in around a healthy weight. My husband thinks I am a bit too thin but I am a healthy BMI. I really do not have any desire to gain any weight. I am pretty content where I am. I don't know if I am too skinny but I know I am happy. So, I take it a day at a time.
