Default How’s everyone doing 3 months post op?

So I’m now 3 months post op and having stall after stall - have one for a few weeks then loose a few pounds followed by another stall for a few weeks! I just wondered how everyone else was doing when they were 3 months out? I’ve lost 46lbs so far but I want to loose a lot more so the stalls are frustrating! I’m really hoping they end soon so the weight loss can continue. Also, the difficulty when you have this done and don’t tell anyone about it is you obviously have nothing to compare it to!

Stalls are extremely frustrating. 46 lbs in 3 months is pretty darn good!
Your body will lose at a rate that it needs to and as long as you are sticking with the programme you will continue to lose.
I still (just over a year out) keep a food diary where I note everything that I eat and the times. I do this to keep myself accountable. I also use an online app to log my meals as this gives me the nutritional content so that I can make sure that I am meeting my protein goals.
Maybe just reassess what you are actually eating and make sure that you are still following the plan set out for you by your surgeon. Exercise really helps. I only walk but I do it most days for 45-60 mins. If the weather isn't very nice I use an exercycle instead.
    Keep smiling. :-)

Thanks - keeping a food journal is a really good idea. I think I’ve ( inadvertantly) slowly been eating less protein so I’m actively upping my protein intake to see if it helps! Did the stalls stop at any point for you? If so - do you remember when??

I agree that 46 lbs in 3 months is great. As for stalls, whenever I felt things slow it was always time for me to try to eat a bit more. As counterintuitive as it sounds, we can eat too little and it will stall our weight loss. Just keep focused, the weight will come off if you are eating right and staying active.
