Smile Lap band revision to sleeve

Has anyone had surgery to revise lap band to sleeve? Where did you have the surgery? Did you have an NG (nasogastric) tube for a while after surgery? Please share any experiences...

I am having a band to sleeve revision with the same dr 1/25/19. I don’t believe an NGT is nessassary unless there is some erosion where the band was.

Just had my revision this week. It went well..I am on day 4 and still feeling a little sore especially where my port was and considerable bruising on my stomach. I did not have an NG. The DR was able to remove the band easily. Good Riddance. I was so tired of throwing up!

I had my band for just over 8 years! It worked well for about 4 years, but the last 4 have been horrible,

There are several band to sleeve conversions on here. They all do really well but tend to lose weight a little slower. This is common for second WLS patients. I can say all the conversions on here are a lot happier.
