Scared this surgery won't work

I am having surgery Oct.16 and am scared it will not work for me. All my life, when I was able to keep weight off, I had to starve myself and speed walk, lift weights and use a rowing machine everyday =ing about an hour and half. I did it for years until I got married with kids and had to have food in the house. Anything over 700 cal a day and I gain weight. A 1200 cal a day diet makes me FAT. What if I go through all this and I am still fat at the end?

Unlikely.
But it is normal to wonder that.

I had the same exact feelings. I would be the one person it would not work for but I took the plunge and completely rocked my sleeve surgery. This surgery works. Plain and simple.

I think we all fear failing at this. But the sleeve is an incredibly effective tool. I'm thinking you'll do wonderfully!

Yep, totally normal thoughts.
Just have a look around this forum and see all the happy successful stories.
It totally does work - BUT you have to also be prepared to make it work. If you don't keep to the programme and you start "cheating" with the foods that you are eating you will be doing yourself a big disservice......and will be setting yourself up for failure.
I am absolutely sure that you will do just great! :-)

your fears are normal. We all felt the same way.
this is a great program. Lots of folks with some incredible success stories. Stick around here and be active. If you have questions ask (i guarantee almost everyone has/had the same questions you do)!

You have to go into it with the right mind set. If you do that and follow your medical teams advice, you will succeed and see many positive changes and you will be so happy!! Best of luck!!
