    Default Oats or oatmeal

I have some questions about this

Should I get the instant pre package stuff or somthing else, what do you use to flavour it?

I also don’t like it all runny I like oatmeal bars so could I mix it and bake it to make it more dry?

I am getting very tired of chicken and I am extremely picky eater but I am starting to pick at slider foods. I have to stop but need somthing new to add to my food routine.

    Any suggestions would be great.

I like the Think Thin high protein oatmeal. I used to buy it at Walmart but can't find it anymore. I have seen it on Amazon and I am sure you can find it elsewhere. I really like the Berry Crumble flavor. Quaker Oats makes an instant oatmeal that is high protein as well. I would try those. I think regular oats are supposed to be better but instant oatmeal won't hurt you as long as you are not loading it up with sugar.

Oatmeal is okay, but still higher in carbs than other foods and not much protein. If you need a "snacky" food try to choose one with "more bang for your buck" as far as protein goes. Protein bars are good, but they're a "slippery slope" and feed into many peoples' sweet cravings, so they can become a problem too. You're early on and it's a good time to adapt behaviors to craving and eating healthier options for the new lifestyle.
    Continued success!
