I guess this is a good place to purge all my poor me boohoo stuff... because at least you guys understand and most of you have been there... so here goes.
I was sleeved 7 days ago. As of yesterday, I’m finally able to take the vitamins at least... but I still went 6 days without... that’s now the very least of my problems...
EVERYTHING TASTES AWFUL. I have tried 16 different proteins... they all either make me nauseated or the texture is completely unswallowable... I’ve tried shake kind I’ve tried the protein water I’ve tried the juice kind.. I’ve tried the UNFLAVORED KIND.... and I’m STILL NOT GETTING ANY PROTEIN IN! I don’t know what to do and I feel like I’m losing my mind...
Fluids are a big issue too... the small sips are really hard to get used to and I’m naturally a gulper... I’m doing some things to manage that but what to do about the rest?!
I’ve only found one soup that my sleeve tolerates (cream of chicken) and some broth... tried a few puddings but I don’t know what else to try in stage 2 that’s not pushing the limits or won’t make me sick...
I know this was a lot to read and you’re all probably rolling your eyes and YES I AM A DRAMA QUEEEN.... but I feel like a failure. I’m feeling like I can’t do it and I’m losing my mind... I just need some positive support and some pointers on what you guys did to get all your protein in...
