I have been away for the summer...maybe a little longer. Between a change in work schedule and being crazy busy with family vacations and activities I have been neglecting you all and I'm sorry.
So I'm now 16+ months out of surgery and navigating the whole maintenance thing. I got down to 114 but holding steady between 118-122. All depends on the day and time of month. Stupid girl issues! Seriously trying not to freak out when I see the scale go up. I'm working out everyday and running 3 times a week. I have never run in my life before this year! Paying close attention to how my clothes fit because I know that muscle weighs more that fat and the fact I'm for sure burning more calories than I eat. This is helping me with my slight upswing in weight. I also think this is where my body wants to be at.
The lose skin is getting better on my bat wings and tummy. Having the most issue with my butt. It is painful to sit sometimes. I have no one to blame but me for doing it to myself. Hoping it keeps getting better with time.
I'm loving this new lease on life I have been given. Could not be happier with how well my results have been! I'm sticking with a lower carb diet and eat an average of 1600 calories a day with about 160 grams of protien. I make homemade pizza and lasagna but i make sure it has a ton of lean protien in it or on it. I still use my fitness pal for everything i put in my mouth. My kitchen scale gets used everyday as well. This is what works for me. I also am a daily weigher.
