    Default weight loss stall

Hi, I need some help and/or advice. I had a gastric sleeve on 10/2/17, and the first 6 months, I lost weight consistently, and I was very pleased with my results. During the 7th month, I had a severe Rheumatoid Flare. Unfortunately, I had to restart my medications, and stop exercising. Since then, I have not lost any weight. I just started tracking again, and slowly adding exercise back into my routine. Any suggestions on how to get a jump start, to move past this weight loss stall? I still have 34 more pounds to lose. Thank you for your thoughts and suggestions.

I'm only 6 weeks out, so I haven't tried this, but i'm keeping this article handy in case I ever need it.

Sounds like you are doing the right things to get back on track. Just get back to how you were taught to eat in the beginning. I don't really believe in the pouch reset, but it you want to use it as a mind reset it won't hurt anything.

When I broke my neck and gained a little by not being able to exercise I joined Weight Watchers for a while just to get it off. It worked for me, as I had never tracked anything before. I am a lifetime member so only had to pay a few weeks until I got back to my goal. Just an idea. I guess the trick is finding what works for you.

Congrats on your weight loss, and not gaining after the illness. Maintaining during a difficult time is an accomplishment! Best of luck to you, I know you will be able to get off those remaining pounds.

Thank you for the suggestions, I have heard about the pouch reset, but may need to do more reading on it. I had also considered weight watchers, and have a friend willing to do it with me so that might be a good option too!

Yes. Back to basics. I always feel doing a few days of liquid diet to get back on track can be helpful. Protein shakes and what not.
