Default Running again and I'm going to be grandmother!

So, I have really concentrated on the gym and crossfit and personal training since I had my sleeve. I have now added in running again. I realised I hadn't run for 7 months or so and suddenly wanted to do it again so I just went out and ran 10km. It felt fairly effortless, probably because im so much lighter and my legs were pretty fresh ( long taper) LOL! I have certainly felt it from squatting down to pee though!! Anyway I think I will add 2 or 3 runs a week to my crossfit and personal training sessions. Might try to make 10km my limit but ai am known to be a lover of long distances so who knows.
In other news my daughter is pregnant!! She and my son in law are thrilled and so are all of us, she got married 14 months ago in The Netherlands and it was the most amazing Syrian wedding and one of the happiest days of my life too!!! There is much joy and questions and ya know Mum being a midwife and child health nurse I am in for a long pregnancy LOL! I shall go for the birth with my partner who is a doc so we can make a good double team!
I have been smiling all week!
Here she is at her wedding. Dressing her was one of the most nervous moments of my life!!!! And the buttons! OMG!

I loved running, until my doctor told me my knees were headed to bone-on-bone and he didn't recommend it. I had been running 3 miles every morning before work. Sucks to get old. Enjoy, it's so much fun!

Congratulations! Grandbabies are the best. I am taking mine (girl 5 and boy 2) to the county fair tonight. I can't wait as I haven't seen them in about 2 weeks. They are the loves of my life... after my little dog, nobody tops Pita. ;-)

Your daughter and her wedding dress are beautiful! I'm sure it was magical getting her all gussied up for her big day.

As for the running, ahgg! I'm not sure I'd run even if someone was chasing me. I'd probably just lie down and accept my fate. Good on you for getting back to what you love.

Congrats on becoming a grandmother. I second the other comments that you look way to young to be a grandparent!

Awesome on starting running again. I absolutely love to run! Losing all the weight does at times make it seem effortless.

    Congrats!

    Woohoo! Congratulations!!!!
    Grandies are just the best.
We had 1 grandson then all of a sudden this year it has been extended to 7 (6 boys and 1 girl)! Birth of another and 5 more through partnerships formed. It is great fun.

Your daughter looked beautiful on her wedding day - must take after her Mum ;-)

Running, well that is another story. Good on you. Have to say it's not my cup of tea - unless there is a very angry animal chasing me :-)
It is so great that this tool lets us go back to or explore new ventures.

First of all congrats!!! Such exciting news. And your daughter is absolutely gorgeous!!! And yay to runs. I am keeping my runs short as well. I know if I run too long my knees hurt so I keep them to 5 miles or less. I love the cardio, though.

Good job on your new running. I do have a comment though. Your daughters picture is spectacular. She is gorgeous. Is that really her or is that the photo that came with the frame you bought. LOL. Good job kid.

I know you loved your running. my knee played up a bit in the last year so I will probably keep it steady and not go all out distances. It does seem a bit better after a steroid injection though. We shall see!
