So today is the day. We’re about to leave and hypotheticals are running through my head. I’m not doubting having surgery one bit.

If my surgeon was concerned about labs or any other pre-op tests (all done last Wednesday 9/11), he would have called right? I feel great, no problems at all. Clearly anxious.

Well here I am...24 hours after surgery. Everything went well. No complications, walking a lot. 2 miles so far. Pain is minimal. I’m burping to get gas out and trying to get my liquids in.

Congratulations on the success of your surgery!!! Thanks for giving us an update!! I had minimal pain as well, just felt like I did too many crunches or sit-ups. I too burped a lot and was doing laps around my floor. My doctor said didn’t look like I even had surgery. Continue to walk and sip your fluids!!! Welcome abroad!!!
