I hope and pray that you and your families all will be safe.
I cannot imagine what is must be like, to be in a hurricane like that.
We don't have storms like that here in Europe.
Please take care!

We are in NC, as are all our grown children. We've all done the preparedness routine, and are at the "what will be" stage. That said, praying for safety for all in NC and SC. When Hugo came through we had 10 days without power. This purports to be even bigger.
We have a condo in Myrtle Beach which was due for closing sale to new owner on the 17th. Kinda hoping its still there on the 20th, when the closing was moved to.
Christie, I cannot believe how much devastation the storm has done in Wilmington and in Kinston! We have had rain rain rain rain and winds. But so far no damage. My daughters, who live in different areas, have also done okay. A tree came down in one's parking lot, but not near her nor anyone's vehicles. We've been fortunate. They said rain til mid day Tuesday -
Bear in mind we live 3 1/2 hours from the beach.....so a huge event.
