I don't like to exercise, in terms of cardio or fitness or weight lifting or any form of that.
I do however like to walk and I do a lot of hiking in the wild.
We are currently in Sweden and there are a lot of woods, moors, tundra's and mountains, so I have a lot to do.
But, even when I was just out of the hospital I did a lot of walking.
But I like to walk with a purpose.
Not only doing groceries, but something fun.
Well, we are hardcore geocachers.
If you don't know what geocaching is, you can take a look here: www.geocaching.com
Basically, it is treasure hunting for grownups.
All over the world, there are caches (the "treasures") hidden in streets, towns, woods, moors, mountains, even in the seas.
There are caches, especially for families with children.
it is a great adventure for the kids to go and find their hidden treasures.
All you need is to see where those caches are (on your computer at this website I mentioned), and some form of GPS device, that might as well be your smart phone.
You can start out real simple, you don't need expensive equipment.
We love it!
I love to go out in nature and go hiking with a purpose.
You will visit places you would never have seen without the cache hidden there.
You may be surprised how many caches might be hidden in your local town park.
Or even in the street you walk daily.
Or near your workplace.
You just check it out, it really is a fun way to go out and get some exercise!
Enter the name of your home town, you may be surprised how many caches are hidden there.
