It has been a long road for me but I am finally here. Hopefully having surgery in October. I was supposed to have surgery back in June but my surgeon had some personal issues to deal with so now I have been handed to the other surgeon working with him. That surgeon now has to take on twice the case load so his waiting list is pretty hefty.

Welcome. Fingers crossed for you for October. Once you have your surgery date it will be very exciting for you.

Hi! I saw you post on Washington sleevers. Just wanted to say hi and I'm from Auburn. I'm having surgery in Dec or early January. I was excited and now I'm feeling nervous about whether or not I'm doing the right thing. Ugh

It will be worth the wait. My five year surgiversary is in October, so I think it's the perfect month! By Thanksgiving I was able to eat tiny bites of everything. And by Thanksgiving people were already noticing how much weight I was losing.

Welcome Kailianna. Sorry you had that happen. I know it had to be a bummer. But you are almost to surgery date. Hang in there. I know the waiting can be the hardest part. Read as much as you can now. The more prepared you are with knowledge the easier the surgery recovery and process will be. I am attaching a link to one of my favorite websites for info. It is actually how I found this forum.

I think that is normal. I am right there with you but it is definitely the right thing. Lets do this. I am in Tacoma so it is nothing but a skip to Auburn.

Congrats on your weight loss. That is so awesome. My birthday is in November so that will be my true test because I will only be about a month out.

Thank you. How has the last year been for you emotionally. I have heard that it is the roughest.
