From despair to elation in 2 hours!

Well, my insurance denied my Dallas surgery because my surgeon’s hospital wasn’t a “center of excellence.” So, I chose a surgeon in Tijuana that a couple of acquaintances had used. He turned me down for cardiac reasons this afternoon even though my cardiologist is all for the surgery. I was so disappointed, having made up my mind to do this thing then to be shot down. A few minutes after the denial I received a call from my medical tourism group who explained that he wasn’t the only fish in the sea. Within a couple of hours my info was forwarded to Dr Villarreal and a date was set for...less than 3 weeks away! Talk about emotional roller coaster! Yippee!
