Default Food for a Beach Vacation - Thoughts Appreciated

    Hi All,

Going on a first vacation - Florida Beach!!!
I'm trying to decide what to do about eating. The hotel has a fridge, but no microwave.

Any thoughts on food while I'm sitting on the beach?

    Thanks Much.

    Hello.
How wonderful to be going on vacation!
Perhaps you could buy a ready cooked chicken and some salad items? Eggs are always good for breakfast and can be scrambled or poached in the microwave. Tinned tuna/salmon. I still have a protein shake for breakfast every morning and if I am going to be away form home throw in some good quality, low sugar, low fat protein bars just in case!
I'm sure there will be lots of great suggestions from others.
    Enjoy your holiday.

Keeping protein bars on hand is good. I also like jerky and cheese for sitting on the beach. And the P3 packs with nuts, cheese, and ham/turkey.

Look in the stores for fresh fish like ceviche or tuna in the sushi department. I know Whole Foods has cut up tuna in a yummy sauce that is delicious, just needs a fridge. Even pre-cooked shrimp would be a yummy snack for the beach.

    Have fun!

On the beach is a bit hard if you don't have an ice chest. But if you are close to your hotel you can go in to eat. On the beach my main focus would be staying hydrated. For the hotel room, all the above are great ideas. The only additional thing that would be good to have in the fridge would be Oikos Triple Zero Greek yogurt. That was always my go to for a quick meal. I love the strawberry one.
