Default Surgery booked for 21 December 2018

So after around 7 1/2 stone / 50 KG weight loss I’ve booked myself in for an abdominal plasty and chest reduction.

The surgeon will cut around my waist, all the way round and then tighten things up. During the consultation he was grabbing chunks of me and pulling this way and that, rather unpleasant but I suppose he was getting an idea of how much he can remove.

Ideally I would like to have it done next month (am currently on holiday in France) but I have a holiday to Italy in October too, plus I need to take around two weeks off work for post surgery recovery. And all that with being self employed meant just before Christmas is a good time for the operation (my industry generally shuts down for two weeks at that time anyway)

Now to save up and finance another £12,000!!

It can be my Xmas present to myself ;-)

How exciting for you! I just had the final step of my breasts done this morning, and boy am I in some serious pain despite being drugged all the way up. Hoping you achieve all great results.

Yes it has come around rather quickly! I was at the hospital yesterday for a pre-op check, turns out it’s going to be around 5hrs this operation.

If I’m honest the nerves are starting to creep up on me, after all this isn’t like the VSG but a pure cosmetic operation where he will put a sharp knife into me, cut bits off and throw in the furnace :-(

Oh well having paid the bill yesterday (£12,000 / US$13,500) there no going back now

    Good luck!
    Nice Christmas present.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

So am am now in the hospital. Surgery started around 0930 GMT and I was in the recovery room waking from the anaesthetic at 1245

I am not going to sugar coat this, it really hurts. Fully body lift and moob job (English slang for man boobs).

Just over 2KG of skin removed from around my belt line, and 600mL of fat liposuctioned out of my moobs before them being “fixed” (600mL = 1.055 imperial pint!)

In aggregate he said all of this would add up to around 5lbs, an expensive and painful way to loose wei

Onwards and upwards! Will try to get a copy of pre pictures from the surgeon.
