New Member August 6 Surgery

I had a sleeve surgery on August 6 and am struggling with the protein and liquid requirements. I’m not sure what i am supposed to feel if I go overboard so I’m staying on the easy side which isn’t right either. I don’t want to cause a leak.....but want to be sure I’m doing the right thing.

I don’t regret my decision. I still crave the same things but know I can’t have them. I thought the craving will go away too. So far it hasn’t and it’s so hard.

Any advice anyone would like to give to a newbiee3 like me woudl be great.

My surgery was on August 3rd and for some reason all the food I see is amazing. So I feel you with the cravings. Every time I say let me just see if I can tolerate a small bite of something I get stomach pains so I can sticking to my liquids and soon I will be able to have some protein shakes. I don’t want to throw up or anything like that. I am afraid of complications. I haven’t weighed myself but I know I lost weight. I just want to be able to eat something.
