    Default Left Upper Chest Burn

    Hey,
I'm entering my second week at solid period.
My stomach really annoy me when it's empty for 2 hours( ofc i drink water, and milk but doesn't stop this feel). If time gets longer my stomach burns and today i feel burn at my left upper chest ( like 5cm from my boob). It's not good feeling. So anybody experienced this ? Also i'm not the person who seeks for disease at his body. But it's happening so here i am ( today is my doctor's only vacation day so i didn't want to call or text )

Its recommended by alot of bariatric doctors to take prilosec, nexium or Prevacid twice aday for 2-4mos. It will help with heartburn and stomach inflammation. Occasionally you may need to take a 14 day regimen after you stop taking daily. I carry tums with me and zantac for occasional heartburn. Hope that helps.

    Hi Ozgur,

I am still taking Nexium morning and evening.
Also My surgeon recommended Gaviscon 3 times a day as well, I did this around the time you are at now.

But it passed, it just takes time and I have always had problems with Acid Reflux.

I am still on Nexium twice a day and Ursactive (for the prevention of Gall stones) this will be reviewed at 6 months (next month) when I have more blood tests.
for me it was just a period of time before it really passed.

I made sure that I really slowed down the time I took to eat my meal - big gaps of time between each bite.
Its not forever and it all changes week to week.
    Wish you Better !
    xx

All your symptoms sound like heartburn. Ask your doctor for a daily pill you can take. The good news is that for most people this only lasts the first few months and the antacid will help. I used Prilosec. Worked like a charm.
