Default Has anyone had cool sculpting

I have yet to be sleeved, but I am thinking about after I reach my goal. Has anyone had cool sculpting after you have reached your goal weight? I wonder if this works pretty well and could be used instead of plastic surgery. I would like to consider it for my armwings and my double chin. Thanks for replies from anyone who may have tried this.

The main plastic surgery issue is removing extra skin which I don't think cool sculpting helps with. Lots of people don't have to do surgery either. The better your diet and exercise the less likely you will need it.

Cool sculpting is only to melt away the fat. Will not do any good for the extra skin some people might have after bariatric weight loss.

I've had it, twice. It doesn't tighten skin. My results were great for the stomach but neglibible for hips. Bottom line: Expensive and NOT worth it.

Hi, I probably wouldn't get Cool Sculpting because it's meant to work on Fat and pretty firm Fat at that. My Sister who is in amazing shape but has that pregnancy belly which is as firm as it gets had it done. Guess what it didn't work that much and she said it hurt like hell. As far as any treatments I wouldn't waste my money until at the very least your 2 year mark if not 3. Things drastically change especially the first year but the skin has a way of bouncing back a bit after year 2 and 3. That's if you stick to your plan and exercise and eat right. You can also fluctuate drastically from year to year so to spend a dime after year 1 is most likely taking a match to your cash. Your skin will become a bit saggy and loose after your initial weight loss but like I said it can bounce back a bit. Don't get me wrong it won't be tight but it changes over time. I'm 3 years and 4 months out and 53 years old this month and it's amazing how the body works. I'm so glad I didn't jump into anything right away because my skin really isn't that bad. Now my face is another story lol, it's really my saggy neck and jowels because I lost so much volume but it's nothing injections won't fix. As far as your body goes there are treatments out there specifically for skin tightening which is a much better option than cool sculpting. I haven't done any of that but if I did that's where I would go. It can be thousands of dollars so make sure you do allot of research and the place you pick is legitamate. There are allot of cosmetic places out there that claim this and that for really cheap prices, don't trust it unless you know someone that's gone there and have great results. Cheaper isn't always better trust me, especially with injections, that botox can easily be saline....Anyway best of luck to you and again don't let anyone talk you into cool sculpting, it's not meant for weight loss patients it's meant for people in great shape with stubborn fat areas. I hope this helps!

Thank you all so much. I really had no idea how that worked. Guess I'll just save my money and hope my skin tightens up on its own. Appreciate y'all!

Only time will tell if you need surgery to correct loose skin. I am 4'11" and lost 99 lbs. I strength train and don't have much noticeable skin...definitely not enough to pay surgery costs for it. I also have noticed a steady improvement from the working out. So we'll see what it looks like in another year. You can only see it on my ab area when I bend. The noticeable on me has been my inner thighs up about mid way and up and my butt. To be fair I had a huge ass and legs. But my legs is mostly noticeable when I run or when I push the skin against something. I can wear short shorts and not feel insecure.

I went to my cosmetic surgeon's office yesterday. His special for the month of August is $500 off of Cool sculpting. If he's offering that much off, that tells me that shit is EXPENSIVE! The before and after pictures were pretty good though.

Oh I love being old! I have wobbly skin and let it hang out and the heck with it. It's too darn hot and I'm going to wear shorts. That being said, don't think I wouldn't kill for some skin surgery later on, after a significant weight loss. I just won't be able to afford it. I could barely afford the copayments for my sleeve.
