Default They're Back!! I HATE Water Weight!!

Well, those pesky 2.5lbs are back but now it's 3lbs. This is so frustrating. That said, I do know why. I went about 40g over my carb limit yesterday and somewhat 10g over it the day before. Carbs make you retain water. So, I've gained back the water I lost. That's all it is so I'm not going to let it get me down. I'm just going to keep on going, cut the carbs back to 20 a day again and drown myself in water. It will come off. I just wish I could get past the 185 hump. I feel like if I can just get below 185 it will start to get easier. I refuse to give up! It's just really hard when I'm doing everything right. So, I'm frustrated again but not giving up. I will break through this wall eventually. I don't care how long it takes. I'm on a mission.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just need to be better.

I would look beyond your macros, and keep a close watch on micronutrients too. It could be the sodium???

I haven’t really have come across any nutritional studies that say carbohydrates are the culprit of water retention per say. If you are eating high complex carbohydrates such as those with high fiber, your net carbs (carbs nimus fiber) may be lower. Your fiber helps with elimination.

Keep working it! You will find your perfect fuel burning formula.

I personally hate that time of the month! I gain/lose at least 7lbs of water retention every time!!!
