Read up. Relax. Breathe! Also, take some good progress pictures now. Wear something form fitting like a bathing suit or bra and underwear. Have the pics taken from the same distance every time. Take measurements. Hips, thighs, calves, waist, chest, neck, biceps....track them every 2 weeks along with your weight and your new pics. It is great to have something to track your journey. Especially when your weight stalls and you think you are not losing but your body is still changing. Plus it is so great to make an album and flip through from start to finish to see what you have accomplished!! Good luck!

Hi Ana!! It's totally normal to be anxious. I remember I was questioning my decision right up until they took me back for surgery. I don't regret a single day. Recovery really isn't that bad, and things get so much easier after you're able to eat normal foods again. It just takes patience getting through the first couple of months, but they go by pretty quickly!

Browse around the forum to get some good tips. There's a recipe section with suggestions for recipes for each stage after surgery. Lots of great protein shake flavor suggestions, recipes for pureed foods, soft foods, etc. That helped me out BIG TIME!

Welcome. As all above and just follow your surgeons instructions. Post surgery walk as much as you can, sip water as much as you can and you will be just fine.
