Its odd how while trying to sleep last night my hips were really hurting. I think balancing on a paddle board must work core muscles I don't typically use.
Wow! Look at you! :-)
So glad that you are enjoying life. Really sorry to hear that your Mum is unwell though.
I have always wanted to try parasailing but have been too fat to do it. Now I am a more reasonable weight I am going to give it a go when we are on holiday in Samoa in a couple of weeks time.
Loving this new life!
That IS fun!
We will be going to Sweden in a couple of weeks and we bought an inflatable kajak, just for fun, to paddle around those beautiful Swedish lakes.
How is your mom?
What was wrong with her?
Really odd, we got called home from our vacation. She was extremely dizzy and had no strength at all in her limbs, so she can't walk. This has never happened before. They are checking everything, In my non-medical opinion it could just be dehydration as I don't think she ate or drank for 24 hours when she started feeling sick. Said her sodium levels are low and blood pressure high. She's on IV fluids. Hope they figure it out!
Then she is so sad/upset to be in the hospital. I can't even convince her that seeing she can not take one step on her own yet, she is where she belongs. I am hoping when I get there this morning things are better! At 91 she has never used a cane or walker or anything like that.
Not drinking enough happens a lot with elderly people...
Isn't she in a care facility, where she can be monitored?
I hope and pray it is just that, dehydration and that she will be well after getting her fluids in.
So sad for her... and you.
Sounds like a tough lady though!
Never even a cane, wow.
Being sick when you're old really, really sucks!
I'm sure she's anxious, if not just bloody terrified, about what this might mean for her near-term living arrangements. She's been through a lot of change lately.

I'm glad she is a little better.
But this is really worrisome...
I wish I had an easy answer, but I don't.
I'm sending good vibes and prayers and I hope things work out...
But that paddle board!
I still love it!
