Hi! I'm Aileen. I am just starting on this journey. I have my required seminar scheduled for the end of August which I need to do before scheduling an appointment wit the surgeon to get the process started. I have struggled with my weight since high school. My father was alaways making negative comments about what my sister and I ate as well as telling us we didn;t want to belike our mom who was over weight. I have done so many diets I can;t even tell you how many but I can't ever seem to keep it off. I am currently at my highest weight and have decided to move forward with a gastric sleeve if possible. I am here to learn more and get supprt. Thanks!

I know where you are coming from.
I too did so many different diets but could not keep the weight off.
I self funded my surgery and I said to my hubby yesterday I spent ten times the amount my surgery cost pre sleeve.It was $2600 for my surgery icluding 7 days stay in hospital.
I spent so much more money dieting The fads the classes excerise videos, spa's health Gurus. AAARGGG when I look back makes me sad.
So really I can only tell you the joy of getting healthy and feeling happy with myself for the first time in 30 years.
