    Default Husband is on board!

So, I'm happy to say that my husband has been so "inspired by the commitment, new attitude, and energy levels" in me that he has started eating what I eat and said he wants to do this with me and make changes in his lifestyle to be healthier with me. He started late last week and has already lost 8lbs. He is really doing well. He's getting up with me in the morning at 5 to hang out with me while I work out. This is so helpful because it's much easier to get out of bed when he wakes up with me. He's motivating me and cheering me on and apparently I'm inspiring him in return. He even tackled his nemesis and got on my elliptical this morning. That was a SHOCK! He does not like the elliptical but he did a great job on it. He has always been like "Hell no!" when I tell him there are too many processed carbs in our house and they need to get out. He's never been eager to eat vegetables. He's a cereal junkie and loves ice cream. Well he gave it all up without notice. He just did it. I didn't ask him to. He didn't even tell me he was thinking about it. He just did it! I'm so proud of him. He even made it through a really bad case of carb flu this past weekend without giving in and eating anything processed. So now this is something we can do together. He cheers me on while I work out and I cheer him on when he makes good food choices. I'm teaching him alternatives to sweet carb treats like sugar free jello and whipped cream instead of cereal. He's finding guiltless treats! I'm teaching him about new foods for us and sharing recipes with him. He said I've opened his eyes to a whole new way of eating and he feels awesome now that he's over the carb flu hump. He's been grilling every night which he LOVES to do and that gets us outside more and OFF THE COUCH. Today he talked for about 20 minutes about wanting to start riding bikes again and getting a weight bench. We're going to convert our garage into an air conditioned gym. I just love seeing him so motivated! I've never seen him like this. It warms my heart that I get to go on this journey with him this time. Together, he and I can accomplish anything so I know this will be a success and we will both get to our ideal goal weights and levels of fitness. Exciting!! I just never expected this and am so happy that he's on board with me. I've got a weight loss buddy! YAY!!

Thats so great jessie. I think it makes a massive difference when your partner is on the same page. This is what me and my partner do, we have always run together, worked out together and eat good stuff together! Such a great thing to happen for you :-)

This is great Jessie. It makes all the difference if your partner supports you and even better if they join in. This happened to me and my partner. He know eats way less then he used to and we walk together every day after work which is a lovely way to catch up without the normal daily life distractions. I'm really pleased that you have this support.

    O wow, that is great!
I am very happy for you (both)!
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.
