Default 3 months since breast lift

July 6th marked 3 months since my breast lift, and I'm still over the moon with having had it done. However... *sigh* now that the initial excitement has worn off, I do see some things that bother me. I kind of feel like they're not really small things either. I can't show you guys and get another unbiased opinion since they are my nipples, and for some godforsaken reason nipples on women are taboo. Whatever. Anyway, my nipples make me sad. I don't like them. Also, the top of my breasts are sunken exactly like my doctor said would happen when he explained why I was going to need a small implant. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the size of my breasts, but that sunken part at the top blows. The scars on the bottom on each side are also weird and "lippy." My doctor said he will clip them when I come back for the implants. Whoa, dude! What if i don't come back for those?

I have an appointment on August 27th to make my decision on if I'm going to get the implants I already paid for or suck it up and deal with the droop and get my cash back. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the implants, I know my husband would like to have a bit more boob in his life ;-) But who knows, I change my mind on a daily basis.

All in all, though it sounds like a lot of complaining here, i do absolutely love my boobies. I am so incredibly happy that I had it done. Even if I have nothing else done to them, and they stay exactly how they are right now, they are a million times better than the big sag of bags I used to have.

I had breast cancer about 15 years ago, and after the double mastectomy I have implants. I will say, even at 66, I'm pretty happy with them. No one mentioned they are cold (I have gummies). I mean, they are like icebergs (not cubes, lol) and of course, no feeling. I had tattoos in your problem area, and one "stayed" and one disappeared. Even with all that, it's nice after the 84 lbs weight lost that the girls are still perky. I can see some seams in the implants, but that's because they remove fat when they do a mastectomy.

Be persistent. And ask more questions if you aren't getting the answers you need.

Happy with my weight; happy with my size; over-the-moon with my health!

Thank you for posting this and being so honest in your appraisal.
These are some of the outcomes that I hadn't really thought about prior to surgery.
I love that there are people like you on this forum who tell it like it is :-)

I mourn the loss of my boobs a little bit.....well, I still have them but they are a shadow of their former selves and are nowhere near where they should be anymore . However if that and some loose stomach skin is the worst that happens I will take that thank you very much as the pros so out weigh the cons.....and a good bra keeps them looking ok from the outside :-)

I'm sure that whatever decision you make will be the best one for you.

Annie, how interesting! I never thought about them being cold, and no one has volunteered that information to me yet either. That's funny, but dang! I'm already always cold. I have purchased the gummies already, but I'm kind of in a panic about them. I am a worrier. I'm pretty sure that's a new thing since my babies have died/become disabled. So anyway, now that I'm a complete mental case of paranoia that something is going to happen, I worry that my boob will pop and I won't know with the gummy. I've debated switching to the saline so that I'll know immediately if one pops. My doctor said he doesn't recommend I get saline as he thinks I'm too thin for them, and that I'll be able to see the bags. I don't know what to do. I've never in my life thought this would be something I'd have to deal with. Who would have thought that 4 years ago my 38 H boobs would be considering implants today. Insanity!

Thank you for your information, and I'd love to hear anything big or small you can tell me about the experience.

Funny side story: when my sister died, I had to stuff one cup of her bra with a sock because one of her implants popped and she didn't have a chance to have it replaced before her death.

From a mans point of view. When my wife had her implants she asked if this will make me love her more. I said "no" but you will get nicer birthday and Christmas gifts.

I can deal with the saggy skin on my bottom half and the belly. It isn't horrible. My sad little tits are a whole other story. I think that I will get implants next year. Have to pay a few things off first. Not going into debt for nice boobs.
