New here. Just looking for how others are doing since surgery. I had my surgery 5-21-18. Seems like weight loss is slowing down already.

From the turtle on your timeline, it looks like you may be halfway down and I'd say that is pretty good! My surgery was June 5 and I've lost 37 lbs. I don't know if that is good or bad, but I'm feeling better and that's what I have to go on. I'm sure there are others out there who can give us ideas on how to jump past a slow down in weight loss!

Keep it up! or down, as the case may be.

So realistically the more you have to lose the quicker you lose. I lost 99 lbs in about 10 months. I never lost super fast but I did lose steadily. Most people only lose a lot the first 2-3 months and then it is more steady at 5-10 pounds a month.

Yes you are correct. 81 lbs. is not the weight loss since surgery. 62 lbs. is the total loss since I started the program (12/17) to have my surgery (5/21/18). I lost 19 lbs. the first month after surgery and not doing much this month so far. I feel so tired and struggle to keep myself moving. The idea of eating most of the time turns my stomach. The eating of chicken and turkey they said I could start on has not been doing well, so I stopped that for now thanks to the suggestions on this site. I really appreciate everyone's support and comments. Thank you again!!

I still think you're doing great! Just keep I up! This is a change you are making for the rest of your life, and while it happens quickly, it doesn't happen overnight. Best of luck to you!
