Hi everyone I am new to this forum. I have been going on here for about 6months and taking in all of your information. I made the choice to get the sleeve done. I finally got the insurance approval now waiting to here from Dr. to get a date for surgery.

Well I have no idea what I am doing on here. I never used a blog or thread in my life lol. My girls always bust on me cause I stink at trying to do facebook. Can't wait to tell them I signed up on a blog. I hope you don't think I am a stalker, but you were the one that helped me decide to get this done. I have been researching on here for months just to take in as much information as I could and I have you to thank. I just work come home and go to bed then do it again. I have a grandson that lives here with me my husband, my daughter her husband. I am unable to do anything with him he just turned 2 and a half. So I am going to be so happy when the weight starts coming off that I can start to live and love life. I don't like posting this on my page for others to see I am hoping I will get to that point.

Hi Cathy.
One of the (many) reasons that I decided to have WLS was to be able to keep up with my (now 6 years old) grandson. I recounted not so long ago that recently we were having a game of chasey and he remarked that I "can run quite fast for an old lady"! Lol!! The decision has been well worth it.
We have a grand daughter due at the beginning of August and I can't wait to be an active part of her life from the beginning.
