Hi! I just had my sleeve surgery 38 days ago, and am on "Soft Foods". I'm on solid food, but it has to be soft and really chopped up. I had my surgery in Mexico at Oasis of Hope Hospital by Dr. Maytorena. He was fantastic, as was the hospital. I would highly recommend him and the hospital if your insurance would not cover the sleeve. Here is FL most insurances won't cover you, even if you have qualifying medical conditions (I had 3!). My BMI was 36.8, I had fatty liver and was pre diabetic.
I'm down 23.6 lbs since surgery, and have now hit a plateau. Sucks. I think I hit it the beginning of this week. I started walking on Monday, and I'm tracking my intake, and am doing good, but ugh...
I'm looking to see what others have done in the "plateau" situation, and what can be expected. Thanks!
