I wish you all much Sucess in your journeys. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there
I understand what you are saying. I don't post here a lot, but I do try to be polite and thank those that help me. If didn't at some point, I apologize.

This is the first forum I have ever been a member of that had the option to "thank" people for their posts, and as a relatively new person, it you don't want to be the ONLY person "Thank"ing everyone for all the posts. It sounds weird, I guess.

Personally, I try to be active here because this is the most active forum I've found in a while and I'd like to contribute to that. You all are such a great resource, too. So, thank you, for all the new people who maybe aren't using the "Thanks" button as much as they ought to!

I use the thanks button heaps, I think I use it like a 'like' button LOL. Press buttons as much as you like lol. I think Tamera means people who post and then never come back but it is a tricky site. I once wrote a massive detailed reply and then was like meh!!!!! She's not talking about people like you!!! :-))))

We used to have a LIKE button, but it disappeared a few years ago. I miss it.

I now use the THANKS button to mean "Thank you" and/or "I like this."

I think it's good manners, if you post a thread asking a question or seeking input, to acknowledge those who answered you -- or at least engage with them. There are gazillions of threads on here where people come on, post a question, people respond, and the OP (original poster) never says boo. Nada. Crickets. So I definitely understand Tamera2 is coming from.
