Default Well the day is almost here - Am I ready? Yes

    Hi Everyone,

My surgery is scheduled for June 20, this coming Wednesday. I'm still very nervous, worried about pain - but hoping for the best.
I have been to the store, stocked up on drinks, broth, shakes, water, jello and all the other stuff. I have my list of stuff to take to the hospital, almost got my bag packed. Can you tell I'm a planner?

I'm 68 so I have been worried a bit about my age but so happy that some of you were born around the same time as me. That helps.

Ann 2, I want to thank you. I read your three reports and a light went off when I read what you said about B12. I have been having a real issue with face breakout, just like I'm a teenager. But I have been really tired and started taking B12 every day... that must be it. Thanks!!

Thank you all for your advice and I'm sure I will be back for more soon. I'm so excited for this journey I'm about to take.

Happyme2, sounds like you're ready to roll.

It also sounds like we are almost twins -- as you know, I was also 68 when I was sleeved, although I weighed about 30 pounds more than you to start with.

You're going to LOVE this process and the results. It gives you advantages you've never had before when trying to resolve what is very likely a lifelong struggle. All you have to do is leverage those advantages to change your life permanently.

    Go, girl!

I am a big planner, too, so I can totally relate. The first week is the hardest. You are tired and worn out. You generally just feel beat. But it gets easier day by day. Just focus on staying hydrated. No shame in napping. I took a lot of cat naps that first week.
