9 Months Out

Today marks 9 months from my VGS!

I am down 78 pounds. Minus 15 medications. Minus 72 inches. (I am minus a bit of hair as well, lol, but its growing back.)

Having the sleeve, and the support of all of you on the board has helped it make it do-able to regain my health and enthusiasm for life. I feel better than I did for the last 15 years! I wish I had known (even as self-pay) to do it sooner since the changes it made would have given me so many benefits.

I' truly appreciate each and every one of you; your enthusiasm, concern, advice and experience have certainly made my life richer.

You are a funny lady! I would have had far less success without your wisdom, sharing and humor! Still need to add exercise and more calories and I'm close as to how to begin! So you're not done with me yet!

Way to go my friend!! I agree with all that you said. The sleeve and this forum are amazing. And you know what....I agree that hair is just hair and it does grow back. All the benefits definitely outweigh the temporary hair loss. I am so glad to have gotten to know you Annie!! You are truly an amazing person and I am better for knowing you! Big hugs!!
