Rescheduling fee for surgery?

Hello All,

If you have a surgery date scheduled and you run into an issue with the date (say 2-3 weeks in advance of the surgery) is there a penalty or rescheduling fee? Does anyone recall what their terms were?

Hi ,
I had to delay my surgery last month 3 days before I was due to have it, and was able to reschedule without any penalty, but I am self funding if that makes a difference.

I wouldn't think there would be a rescheduling fee. There is always someone who wants an earlier date so filling your surgery spot shouldn't be a problem. Also, the earlier you reschedule the more likely you are to get the new date you want.

If you give them enough notice there usually is not a problem.
