    Default Sleeve Theme Song!

OK, try walking to the beat of "Come Alive" from The Greatest Showman and it's impossible not to smile (or sort of dance along the trail). I've never even seen the movie, but I think this song should be my theme song of this journey from being obese to being healthy and happy. Here are the lyrics. (Yes, I always hike to Broadway show tunes...)

    You stumble through your days
    Got your head hung low
Your skies' a shade of grey
Like a zombie in a maze
    You're asleep inside
    But you can shake away
'Cause you're just a dead man walking
    Thinking that's your only option
But you can flip the switch and brighten up your darkest day
Sun is up and the color's blinding
Take the world and redefine it
    Leave behind your narrow mind
    You'll never be the same
    Come alive, come alive
    Go and ride your light
    Let it burn so bright
    Reaching up
    To the sky
    And it's open wide
    You're electrified
When the world becomes a fantasy
And you're more than you could ever be
'Cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open
And you know you can't go back again
To the world that you were living in
'Cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open

That's a fab song, I love that film (it helps that Hugh Jackman is in it to) all of the songs are uplifting. My favourite is 'this is me', the words are also very apt. Thank you for sharing

I usually listen to it at my desk at work, but didn't think of pulling it up on my walk. I really was truckin and at least in my head dancing!!!

Great song and quite fitting! I organize a bariatric fashion show in our larger malls in NJ and have each participant pick a "theme song" which typlifies their journey. It's really empowering to them and I personally like:

Jordin Sparks, "One Step at a Time." Mary J Blige, "Just Fine."

    Have a great holiday weekend!

I don't know that song or that movie, but I'm going to look it up.
I am actually in the market for some good songs or music to walk on.
    Thanks for sharing!
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.
