Hello everyone,
It has been quite awhile since I have posted anything on here, but I have checked back in now and again to stalk my old sleeve friends. Today is my one year surgiversary and I had to post updates and pics. I have to say that it has been a wonderful year since my surgery. This has been the most life changing event as far as my health and well-being. Anyone who is considering surgery please do this for yourself, your health and your family. I'm not going to say it is always the easiest path, but definitely the most rewarding as long as you follow all the rules, which are different for every person. Generally though, a healthy "diet" (as much as I hate that word) containing plenty of protein, fruits and vegetables and a moderate amounts of carbs along with exercise of some sort. I chose to lose the weight and get to goal before I really started working out. I reached my original goal weight of 200 lbs and then my body decided it wanted to lose even more...lol. I have since stabilized and now maintain around 185lbs which is a good weight for me at 6'2". Attached are my latest pics and as you can see it has been a transformation from the overweight and unhealthy version to what I have to say is the healthiest version of me since I was a teenager and played sports. Please choose to have this surgery for your health, follow the rules and always exercise. Good day everyone and God Bless!!
